ERIK THE BLACK

2009 Bay Arabian Gelding

Looking for that multi-talented horse that you can go have some fun on?? Ridden in the arena this Khemosabi grandson is light, responsive with smooth transitions on a loose rein. He was trained and shown by Jeffrey Wilms of Scottsdale, AZ and was the 2013 and 2014 Scottsdale Western Trail Junior Horse Champion. Out on the trail he just loves to go and is bold and forward. Has completed a 4- LDs and 4 - 50's. Most recently completed a 50 miler at Old Pueblo Pioneer in Arizona.  Will be at Mt. Carmel XP in Utah.  This is a very bold and forward moving horse, however, he will stay behind another horse when asked and keeps a reasonable distance. He will go alone and be just as happy to move along. He is careful with his feet and excels on the single tract. He can canter on a narrow trail while weaving and avoiding obstacles without breaking stride. Naturally a lead changer and very efficient mover. He would do extremely well with a skilled and confident rider and someone who likes to move along but doesn't grip with their legs or pull on the reins. He is for someone that knows what they are doing but doesn't have the time to train a horse. This guy is trained and you will appreciate how light and responsive he is to leg and seat cues. He is a natural athlete and extremely talented....a definite 100 miler prospect!!! Don't miss out on this horse, there aren't too many horses out there with this level of training and natural athletic ability.
